Located on the main level
near the entrance lobby, this large room is furnished as a lounge
with a fireplace, large windows and doors to the outside.
It is envisioned as a warm living-room-like space with a variety
of seating clusters, to be used for general socializing and for
special events and gatherings. Adjacent to this room is a
servery for food service when desired, as well as washrooms and
a storage room for extra chairs, tables and a portable stage.
Meeting/Family/Common Room
This large room, located
beside the elevators on the third level, can be used by families
of residents for parties or gatherings. It can also be used
by staff for meetings or other gatherings.
Beauty Parlor/Barbershop
A beauty parlor/barbershop is located on level five and serves all residents. Physioterapy Room
This large exercise training
area, located by the elevators on level four, provides a central
space where residents therapeutic needs can be addressed.
Nurse Supply Storage Area
This is a secure space
located on the third level for the central storage of drugs and
other nursing supplies.
Café
The café is modeled
on the very successful tuck Shop which has operated at Fairhaven
for many years. Located by the main entrance, it provides
residents a place to socialize with other residents or visiting
family members, purchase refreshments and other small items.
