Skin Care Monitoring Protocol Program

Supported by a positive team-oriented environment, the product will work wonders and benefit your residents by assuring non-restrictive treatment, pain manageability and no hospitalization. At Fairhaven our experience with skin care programs has been that, while they are usually successful in treating skin problems, they tend to be too general in scope, too costly in time and often complicated for training and use with residents. So we have designed our own protocol to be concise, timesaving and - above all - to have amazing results with our residents. Our Protocol package conforms to Regional Skin Care guidelines and includes information on prevention and early detection, a protocol for non-infected wounds, monitoring procedures and measurement statistics.
The Skin Care Monitoring Protocol Package is available with our without diskette. It includes telephone support for three months.

The RPN Refresher Course - A Trainer's Manual
If your organization is poised to invigorate an empowered and responsive nursing team, then our RPN Refresher Course for practice in Long-Term Care facilities is for you.
Not only will it bolster your energetic and collaborative workplace, it will also lead to greater unit and facility efficiencies. From our own experience with a collaborative nursing team at Fairhaven, we have developed an RPN Refresher Course that updates and soldifies the essential contributions of the RPN.. The course provides definition and clarification of the RN and RPN clinical roles and how they are interrelated. It is designed to maximize RPN's expertise as specified by the RPN Role Description approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario and tested in arbitration.. The course is modular, interactive and includes practical exercises, learning materials and many tips for the trainer.. The RPN Refresher Course Manual is available with or without diskette and overheads.
