Board Member Opportunities

The Fairhaven Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Foundation and ensures the Foundation is adhering to government regulations. The Board is also expected to be involved with events and other activities of the Foundation on a regular basis.

Board Member Recruitment

FAIRHAVEN FOUNDATION, a registered charity dedicated to enriching the quality of life for residents living in Fairhaven Long-Term Care Home, is now recruiting:

Experienced, enthusiastic, and committed individuals with an interest in fundraising, marketing, public relations and/or financial management are required. Experience in business or the not for profit sector an asset.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Fairhaven Foundation is dedicated to supporting and enhancing quality living for residents at Fairhaven. Our small staff component strives to raise money and ensure services are available to residents on an on-going basis.

The Foundation is always recruiting volunteers to help with its events and other programs. Consider making a contribution to the Foundation by volunteering your time. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Event organization committee member
  • Event registration volunteer
  • Event day volunteer
  • Marketing volunteer
  • Sponsorship volunteer
  • Community liaison volunteer
  • Creative media volunteer
  • Administrative volunteer
