Kenn is a champion among champions. He knows how to enjoy life to the fullest, encourages progress and welcomes change. Kenn is an advocate for Fairhaven and the community, as well as a very patriotic individual that continues to display the Canadian flag in his home.

Kenn lost 99% of his eyesight 21 years ago. He still enjoys a very active lifestyle and can be quoted as saying “I am 88 but feel like I am 50”! Kenn has acquired many accolades including an induction into Peterborough’s “Pathway of Fame.” He is passionate about teaching future generations the true values of humanity: attitude, respect, determination, cooperation, perseverance, courage, empathy and sharing. interestingly, he has 50 years of volunteer experience in the city of Peterborough!

This is the third year that Kenn has taken to the water!  On Thursday, July 30, 2015 Kenn stayed up for 32 seconds!  Kenn’s amazing feat can be seen on Fairhaven’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCalzvhGJKx5ibfBhEDhxTMg

Our sincerest thanks to Cottage Toys Ski School (http://cottagetoys.ca/) and the Irwin Inn on Stoney Lake (http://www.irwininn.com/). The event would not have been as successful without your generous support and encouragement!
