Who are we?
For over 40 years, Fairhaven has established itself as a viable and innovative organization that serves the people of the Peterborough region. First and foremost, Fairhaven
is a Long-Term Care facility owned and governed by the community
and maintained without reliance on operating funds from the municipality.
As the needs of the community have changed, Fairhaven has responded
by expanding its scope and reaching out to serve not only those
requiring long-term care, but also those involved in the organization
and management of other not-for-profit endeavors.
Now, through the Fairhaven Consulting Group, we'd like to share our strategies with others.

Learning is a constant process. By sharing our experiences with
others, we all benefit. As innovators we've developed
many of our own solutions. However, we've also
looked to both the private sector and other public
sector organizations for ideas on how to apply and adapt what we've learned.
